Probate
Probate is my primary practice area.  Primarily, I litigate probate issues for contestants who are not happy with the administration of an estate.  I also represent probate administrators seeking to probate wills or estates.  I am the past President of the El Paso Probate Bar Association.  "Probate" includes both probating estates, with or without a will, upon death, and guardianships for the disabled. I prefer contested cases involving litigation.  I also practice estate and disability planning.

Business
Business transactions and business formations are a significant practice area for me. This includes the sale of businesses or major assets and the formation of LLCs and S corps.  It also involves business litigation and collection litigation.  I am the chapter attorney for SCORE which is an organization that assists people in starting and running businesses.  I practice real estate law.  I received my MBA from UT in Austin.

Criminal Defense
I have significant experience practicing criminal defense. I am a former Deputy Public Defender for El Paso County, Texas. I also handle traffic ticket cases.
